US elections pull down Asian stock markets

Asian markets ended the week on a sore end as the US elections influenced them to go in reds on Friday. The jitters of the results and recovery of economies due to the coronavirus pushed markets to downward trends.

Hang Seng Index of Hong Kong inched down 0.17 per cent. On the other side, Japan’s Nikkei 225 slid by 0.64 per cent, whereas KOSPI of South Korea fell by 1.10 per cent at 3:32 AM GMT. Shanghai Composite of China edged down by 0.10 per cent, while the Shenzhen Component lost 0.60 per cent.

Meanwhile, Australian markets also suffered losses. The ASX 200 went down by 0.22 per cent.
