These partnerships were launched on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and is said to expend opportunities and support for youth and their communities. Nike believes that with the power of sports will promote and diversity, inclusion and equality.
PeacePlayers International is known globally for uniting divided communities by the means of athleticism. PeacePlayers is dedicated to strengthen communities and break down barriers by using sport as a means of building connections and camaraderie.
Mentor is a leading national organization that ensures quality youth mentoring relationships; its mission is to close the “mentoring gap” that young people may receive the support they need in order to succeed in life.
The announcement of support for PeacePlayers and MENTOR furthers Nike’s long term commitment that is to create positive impression in communities supporting equality for everyone.
