The owner of the British Airways, IAG has decided to raise 2.741 billion euros by heavily discounted, and fully unwritten capital increase said the company on Thursday.

The conglomerate is thinking of representing thirty-six per cent discount by issuing new shares at 0.92 euros.

The discount would be based on the price that closed on Wednesday, per se a theoretical price. For every share of the British Airways owner, the shareholders will get one subscription. Interestingly, for three new shares, two subscription rights are required by an individual.

The rise in equity was announced in July that received approval from shareholders on September 8.
