For countering fake news meandering on climate and offer the accuracy on it, social media giant Facebook unloaded climate science information centre. It will now help them source credible information on climate change and eliminate misinformation.
In a statement, the company co-founded by Mark Zuckerberg said that model of the centre is based on its COVID-19 Information Center. Likewise, last month the conglomerate had come up with a similar feature in alignment with the preparation of the US voting slated to take place in November.
The feature is likely to be rolled out in France, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Furthermore, some other prominent countries are also in the fray.
