On Monday, the German marketplace organisation, Deutsche Boerse, reported a set of proposals for the DAX, which includes raising the number of companies in Germany’s blue-chip index to 40 from 30, firmer requisitions for entry, and diminishing the number of companies from 60 to 50 in nation’s mid-cap, MDAX.
Besides, the proposal also said that firms which are unable to submit the quarterly reports should not be allowed in the index and only profitable companies should be a requirement to join the leading index.
