Canada Shares Close High at The End of Trade day

Canada equity closed at a higher rate at the end of the trading day on Monday. The S&P/TSX index hit three months high, rose 0.32% in the Toronto Stock Exchange. The factor that compelled this high equity rate was the significant gain in sectors like energy, health care and Finance. The highest gainers of this session on the S&P/TSX index were three major companies:

Brookfield Business Partners LP – rose 4.30 points or 11.01% and marked 43.37 at the close of trade. 

Silvercorp Metals Inc- It was up 0.93 points or 9.42% to 10.80 in late trade. 

Crescent Point Energy Corp. added 0.19 points or 7.82% to end at 2.63 in the end.

The lowest shares included:

Kinaxis Inc- lost 12.23 points or 5.85% to end at 196.97 

Shopify Inc- shed 64.96 points or 4.61% to 1343.08

Alacer Gold Corp declined 0.43 points or 4.49% to trade at 9.14 in late trade.

Advancing stocks fell ones by 692 to 399, and 101; remains unchanged at the end of Toronto Stock Exchange.

The S&P/TSX sixty, remained unchanged 0% to 11.27.

CAD/EUR was up 0.76% to 0.6379, while CAD/USD rose 0.31% to 0.7490

The United States greenback Index Futures rose by 0.18% at 93.578.
