On Thursday, Canada stocks ended lower with S&P/TSX Composite shedding 0.28%, continuing its losing rally. The fall was led by IT, material, and consumer services sectors falling the most in Toronto exchange.

The top performers at the S&P/TSX Composite include Corus Entertainment which gained 0.11 points, or 3.59%, to settle at 3.17, Teck Resources Limited B gaining 0.66 points, or 3.49%, to trade at 19.59 in the late session, and Celestica Incorporation rising 3.98% or 0.38 points to end the day at 9.93.

The worst performers on the exchange were Endeavour Mining Corporation which declined 1.77 points, or 4.56%, to close the day at 37.08, Teranga Gold which fell 0.63 points, or 4.09%, to trade at 14.77, and Vermilion Energy which shed 5.83% or 0.25 points to late trade at 4.04 in the session.

Overall, losers dominated the market with 662 falls, 397 gains, and 115 shares closing unchanged at the Toronto stock exchange.

Meanwhile, the US dollar index was 0.24% down, to trade at 92.898.
